His sizings make me immediately think he's a fish. According to GTO I played the hand correct, but, should I have shoved on the turn here against a fish who might've called down this particular hand.

I'm raising the flop and building the pot.

On turn anything but call is better option.

Would you raise flop against a reg as well? I always thought both players want to prevent building a huge pot on the flop on a monotone board because equity can shift so drastically on turn / river. Or is this only the case when OOP?

I'm actually quite intrigued as to what a solver would do here. My instinct on these monotone boards is to play either passively, as you did, or with relatively small bet sizes, a bit like villain.

A set on this flop is good, but you can both have so many combos of flushes that I don't feel like a set is a mandatory value raise on the flop or turn. Although as there is an A on the flop, that does decrease the number of flushes compared to if it was a K or Q, maybe that would push some sets into raising territory.

I'm really not sure it is correct, which is why I'm intrigued, but I'd have played pre, flop and turn the same. Might've folded river, tough decision. You beat all bluffs

haven't solved it but my inclination is against a reg we flat flop and jam turn. but vs a fish you Have to raise flop

Did run solve, and its checked through turn (didn't run river).

Though I don't have 55 for utg, I placed 66 and 55 for open in this simulation.

Very low frequency open with 55 UTG for me and also defending only half of the time vs BB 3bet or so pre. These small PP's perform very badly from UTG, I'm even mixing in some folds with 66 recently and adding ATo and KJo into the mix rather.

Same. It mixed between call/fold otr with If I remember right, spade and club call more.

Interesting, will take that with me. I'm usually opening all PP UTG. The reason I called the 3bet because he gave such an awesome price to play IP.

I did. VS Reg we want to call turn and call river actually - like the way I played. A straight would be a jam on the turn.
