I kind of like donking with this hand, and some 7x hands too (to balance sets and top two) but I usually check my entire range. With that action sequence, however, you need to fold, as you can't close the action and you don't want to play for stacks (by cold 3-betting), as you're likely to run into a set.
You've got no money invested post-flop, and at least one of those guys has a real hand. You just have to accept that you've been priced out, just like if someone had bet 22bb into 12.5bb.

What's the logic behind donking on this flop? I don't have donk betting incorporated in my strategy and basically always check my whole range OOP. Maybe it's something I should consider.

Folding here makes a lot of sense, but what would you call, 2p+, TP + draw maybe?
Just a thought, I think I'm probably 3betting my straights and sets here so wouldn't JT with BDFD be one of the better bluff 3bets?

In terms of just playing the hand in isolation, do you think just being IP would be sufficient to call or do we need to close the action in order to call?

I'm hating life with bottom set here, let alone this

I like donking flop. Facing a bet and a raise this seems like a simple fold.

I hate mucking this much equity but as others say we're priced out. Donking flop seems good, but buggered if I think of it in-game.

Donking is unlikely to provide a significant increase to your EV (and it's really hard to balance your ranges correctly) but the reason why I'd consider donking with sets/2pr (and a couple of SDs with BDFDs) in this spot is that it's very unlikely that the PFR is going to c-bet multiway and OOP on this board. The flop checking through could be a very bad result for you, as many turn cards will mean you don't get paid with your value-hands (the board may be very 'scary'), or you'll actually be losing.
