You have a lot to learn, but it's cool - you're in the right place. They're outdated but read all the memorable strat threads and download free versions of software like equilab.

You can then plug in a CO open range and see how 74s is doing against such a range. You should be being extra tight as it's such a huge open, too.

AP I like the raise because we have no showdown value. I'm not sure why you'd want to wait for the flush, as you put it. You have 7 high and you won the pot. That is much better than playing passively and potentially getting stacked by a higher flush, etc
