is this too reckless going all-in on the river?
the reason I went all in was because i could have AA, KK and AQ on the river.
but looking back, having the Ace of hearts blocks the potential nut flush so Im not sure what the best play is right here.
Also, please give me betting size advice on flop and turn if there is anything to change.

I think your sizings look fine. But having the Ah makes this less desirable as a bluffing candidate. I def like the flop bet. After that, I’m not sure. I’ll wait for someone smarter to dig into how many barrels to fire.

I'd say oop you probably want to go a little bigger pre, usually around 4 to 4.5x the open, but at 5nl, maybe 3.5 to 4x.

Flop is pretty good, but not great. I think you could either range bet small (exploitatively), bet half pot with a lot of your range, or go for strong hands with a lot of bluffs and a larger size, 2/3 pot or more. I prefer going for the first or third option, but your sizing is fine. However, if you're not range betting, I like your hand as a check, as your hand is probably ahead of villain's range (so is too good to be a bluff), but won't be if villain calls your bet.

Once you've bet the flop, I think your hand is a decent bluff, as villain can have AQo and KQo, but probably not QJo, so you block the most likely Qx villain can have.

Otr, I think you have to be careful about not over bluffing, so probably only bluffing with combos that don't include a heart is probably safe. But, if you feel that you can get a decent proportion of villain's range to fold (the flush draws they have left and pp JJ and under, assuming they called flop and turn with them, and ideally some random floats like gutshots), I think over bluffing is fine. However, if you feel like villain will mostly have Qx, fd, and the odd JJ or TT, I don't think you'll be getting enough folds to justify over bluffing.

Thanks for the advice. It really helps.
Ill make sure to not over bluff.
As I think about this hand, it makes sense not bluffing with Ah. Ill try to find better bluffing candidates next time.

I make this 11bb pre.

Flop is a bet, not 100% which sizing is correct but probably do 33% and look to size up ott.

Turn is a give up card for me. Plenty of stations will call w/pocket pairs, and having Ah is no bueno. I only c/c if V bets small.

Agree on the give up in this pool.

Lost too many stacks trying to bluff here, too many stations.

I have two ways to bluff now.

Check flop, if checked back, bet turn and river.

Bet flop, check turn, if checked back, bet river.

As played, its okay to bet flop, bet turn. However, villain has called every street. Give up on river.

If bet river, and villain shoves, I move on. Trying not to stack off in this pool.
