On the river I raised small because I can't think a bluff I could have. Don't know, but feel like he should be able to fold an 8x for a bigger raise.

you have a very good hand on the river so you should raise bigger and you don't have to raise this big v often because you won't have a hand this strong very often. As for the "bluffs" you can just use Ax.
