I'm not great and am fairly new to this.

Am wondering whether I played this wrong given stack sizes. no idea how he turns up with that hand but I think I was over-focussed on getting value from AQ.

Villian is 22/11 but only over 19 hands. Zoom hand.

Don't play this deep if you're just going to punt off 300BBs with one pair.

Since you're playing zoom, just sit out and sit in again when you get deep.

I think the trick is not to play 300bb deep when you don't know how to play 300bb deep (I know I reenter after hitting >250bb and probably should before that).

I don't think you've really done anything wrong I just find it really hard to think of hands that are calling the river that you beat. I'd guess the turn is where you are most likely to have made a mistake but against this villain who is clearly calling with some odd things it's fine. Maybe x/c river to give himself a chance to bluff off crap he didn't hit.

It's a bit of a tough spot, more on the side of the cooler. Because how deep you are I would of 4 bet even larger 30-33bbs you guys are so deep he is going to call extra wide. In 100bb effective stack I would be fine with your flop sizing, however, your so deep I would be at least going half pot.

I think on the river I'd bet a smaller sizing, but to tempt him into jamming with AK/air. Id never fold this hand for sure, we really should only be worried about QQ and sometimes 99

I have no idea how a solver would approach this situation.
I think though as SPR goes up we should play our pairs more passivly. Without reads I would bet 33-33-33%, against cs i would play the same with you.
Interesting hand, it would be nice to hear more advice from good players.

I mean when he shows up with that hand your line is probably fine. Go for that fat value vs mega whales. Unfortunate hand all around. Against someone more competent I’d definitely check either the flop or the turn.

I found it interesting to try and find a mistake in his play.

I think the call of my 4 bet pre is loose but IP, it's probably worth it (given the result it was).

Then on the flop, he has little but my hand is pretty much face up and any 5, 7, 8 or 9 really give him a lot more value. Like 1/3 of deck.

Like someone said I think really deep, pairs go down in value. Calling someone whose range is fairly well defined in position with pretty much anything can be justified.

you need to tag this guy as a whale. 3betting 78o and calling vs a 4bet is a man who hates money.

all comments of caution due to stack depth are important to take note. 300bb's is a totally different world (still doesn't justify 78o!)
