Villain is a whale but looks passive. If I'm raising this mono flop it's to r/f. Even V's calling range which we beat is going to have good equity against us – likely having a spade – we could be dead and even if we're not dead we're possibly drawing to 2 outs. Seems way overplayed to me.

Villain isn't passive at all. Donks 33%! And as an AF of 48!

What is the sample size because he is clearly very passive pre and AF stats need large samples to be accurate IME.

True, I didn't have a big sample size. But he was crazy.

I put some ranges in Equilab giving him all the flushes possible (but I am not sure he would shove some high flushes). I gave him the sets and two pair and some one pair and flush draw combos. And If I raise I have to call. I have 35 percebt on call. And with this pessimistic range I have 42% equity.

You should not be going broke with this hand.

How would you play it? Raise/fold flop or call and evaluate turn?

How do you know he was crazy? What was the sample on donk? 1/3? You have not made proper use of the statistics.

Flop is an easy flat. Slightly ahead/Way behind situation and those are situations to not dump stacks in.

I had a few hundred hands on him and I've seen him spazz out. Making huge bluffs and overplays.

Based on your read, I'd call down on blanks and not be too happy about it.

I'd do the same without giving him the 1 pair and flush draw, just to see. Probably much, much worse for you.

I'm not sure he shoves a baby flush draw here, even with a pair. If you take those out, he only has huge value hands that you're drawing to 2 outs (or worse).

And when you say that you gave him all the flush, you really do mean 'all' the flush? Not just suited connectors or what not? The guy is 66/15, he can have literally any 2 spades here (well he actually did too).

For the rest, as isolated said. If you're ahead you're just slightly ahead. And if you're behind you're drawing almost dead. You want to play for stacks in such situation?
