Hey Guys,

I recently moved up to 50 NL on PokerStars, 6 max. Can you take a look at these stats and provide feedback? The sample is small, ~9K hands, but I want to fix holes as soon as possible. I will post win rates later. Thanks.

Initial thoughts is that I don't think I am aggressive enough (AF< 2), and maybe I should c-bet more.

My follow up stats review

On 12/31/2008 I hit my first 10k hands in PT3. I decided it was a good time to do a stats review. I know 10k isn't a huge volume of hands however I figured it was a good time to take a look at them. The review was a big eye opener for me. Here is the post containing the review:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...&postcount=707

Since the last review I've reached another 10k hands in PT3 (20k total now). I've made several major changes (filled holes) in my play since the first review. Because of that I decided to do an additional review [B]only/B] on the 10k hands since my first review rather then the entire 20k hands.

About 8k hands into this 10k subset of hands I started working with a coach which is really helping my game. I look forward to seeing where my next 10k hands takes me.

I've posted the new stat value in black and the stats from the first review are in orange.

Overall Stats

VP$IP: 16% 18%
I think my VPIP is still pretty standard and okay. I feel like based on the TAG style I'm trying to play anywhere below 20% could be expected with the data only being 10k hands.

PFR%: 11% 6.4%
My PFR percentage is much improved over last time. After my last review I tried to stop cold calling PF and leading out more. After working with my coach I've pretty much eliminated open limping all together so I expect this value to be closer to my VP$IP over the next 10k hands.

AF: 2.8 1.98
On my last review I said I'd like to be more aggressive overall and get this number up to 2.5 or 3. So I'm pleased to see it's 2.8. I've really worked had to be more aggressive post flop (in good spots!).

CCPF: 7.5% 16.5%
Last time this number was HORRIBLE. 16.5% was ridicules. I've worked on cold calling a lot less PF. I'm pleased to see I've cut this percentage by a little more then half. With coaching and the latest changes in my game it'll be interesting to see how much this percent drops over the next 10k hands.

W$WSF: 43.3% 40.9%
I'm pleased with this stat. I'm glad to see it went up by a few percent.

WTSD: 25% 26.9%
I feel like this is on the low end. After doing a little research it seems like it should be more in the 35% to 45% range. My guess is it shows I'm letting people push me off hands I should probably be pushing back with. It's certainly not that I'm pushing everyone else off of hands.

W$SD: 56.2% 55.6%
Didn't really change much so I think what I said in the last review still fits, "I'd say this is solid. Higher would obviously be better but I feel like above 50% is acceptable."

Att To Steal: 20.5% 9.3%
I was very pleased to see this stat doubled. I'm trying to focus on opening up my range in the CO and on the BTN and steal more. Especially when it's folded around to me. It'll be interesting to see where this stat is after another 10k hands. I'd like to see it closer to 30%.

Fold to BB Steal: 87% 82%
Fold to SB Steal: 89% 85.6%
Since my last review I've read/heard in videos that a lot of winning players have fold to steal percentages between 80% and 90% so I'm okay with this stat. It might be on the high end but I'm trying to play using position. I've recently worked on fighting back against blind stealers, but in the right spots and with position.

Bet Flop: 38% 33%
Last time I felt this number was WAY too low and it's barely gone up. However I believe I may have misunderstood how it's calculated. Since most of the time I'm the PF aggressor I'll be cbetting the flops. It's rare go to flops where I'm not the PF aggressor so it's also rare when I bet flops I wasn't the preflop aggressor on.

CBet Flop: 70% 73.6%
I still feel like this is about where it needs to be. Right between 70% and 80%. It's on the low end but I'm trying to recognize bad flops to CBet on.

Fold to Flop Bet: 70% 65%
Fold to Flop CBet: 65% 63%
I still don't have a good since of what these numbers should be ...

Position Stats

My positional stats could use some work but they're looking MUCH better then last time. There's a natural drop in my VP$IP/PFR from the button down which is how it should be. Last time they were almost all between 19% and 20%.

Since realizing, in my last review, that I only THOUGHT I understood position and clearly wasn't using it I've worked hard to fix that leak. My SB VP$IP is still high though. I need to check into that.

Through books, videos and coaching I can honestly say I have a much better feel for position, using it and it's importance. I still have a lot to work on, but I feel like I'm heading in the right direction regarding position!

Overall Assessment

Overall I feel like I'm definitely heading in the right direction. I'm not playing nearly as weak and passive as I was before. I've become much more aggressive both PF and post flop, but in the right spots. I'm getting much more comfortable with where my game is heading.

If anyone made it this far thanks for taking the time to read this. Any input would be greatly appreciated. This is a HUGE thread though so if you comment please send me a PM letting me know you posted. It's hard to keep up with all the post here.

Okay it's been a very bloody month. Some of the looseness was due to a couple tilt episodes. But mostly the stats are accurate and I'm trying to figure out my way at 6 max. Any help or abuse is welcome.

Does pt3 not break down aggression by street?

Anyway, here are my stats after starting to play recently.
Some of my concerns are.

- River Aggression is low. Am i losing value here? I love to let people fire off a bluff on the river and call it with a hand where if i had raised, they would have folded.

- My Bet is consistently below my equity. Morel lost value? Should my equity be dropping $600 from the flop to river?

- stupid won w/o showdown is negative. WTF

- Losing tons of money with 1 pair and high card. Is that something i can fix, but maintain aggression?

- I know my pfr is low at .25/.50 but i have been playing at the deep tables. So i call preflop alot 200bb deep. Hoping someone with stack off with AA against my 2 pair or hidden straight.

Filters, Holecards, decelect all hands, then turn pocket pairs on at the right. Then go to the more filters tab and select Saw Flop = True. Apply filters, see how many hands there are total.

Now go to the HandValues tab in filters, untag Any Flop Hand Value and, while holding the ctrl key on your keyboard, click the 3 sets and 4 of a kind with PP. Apply filters, check total hand ammount again and now you know how many sets you flopped compared with the total ammount of flops seen with PPs.

Originally a 25NL FR reg that has switched to 6max full time since March. I took a few stabs at 6max during my FR run and did well always the first day and bombed out horrible the next day but now I've been sweating with a 25NL reg so I'm doing ok but my non SD line has been dramatically horrible and only getting worse. I know it's not that important in micro limits but I feel I am losing a lot of value or maybe I am just weak tight sometimes but usually I feel I am aggressive.. probably because of position. I play pretty tight nitty preflop when calling but I raise pretty liberally with PPs from any positions and SCs from late position which I think maybe the reason why my non SD is failing because of getting C/R'd or single barreling.

my lifetime graph isn't that big, it's only 90k because I've been playing cash for almost 2 months now. I noticed my non SD winnings fell for the first time in the lifetime graph is when I moved to 25NL, I started learning about implied odds with PPs wrong, calling any stack size any decent bet size with any PP trying to set mine and failing to play PPs aggressively IP. I eventually learned and started break even non SD but again, it keeps going down but I am only calling or raising PPs if stack sizes are correct etc.

my 6max March graph

my lifetime graph, mostly 25NL FR

PFR / VPIP should be between .66 and .75. Yours is .32.

Two ways to get there:
- stop limping (i.e. get VPIP down)
- raise the good hands you limp, fold the rest (i.e. raise PFR)

Hello,

attached my stats for the first 7000 hands at NL50 6 max ( 4 tabling )
I am running a bit under expectance but anyway I am not that unhappy with my play so far.

I have some problems with my PF play I think + some other parts of my game I am working on right now. In the past I had major problems with tilting but sinced I thought all over and started playing seriously with a good BR managment I was not tilting since my start with NL50.

So any help would be appreciated.

Here we go with the stats :

I believe you want to take a link to your image (it should end in .jpg or similar, the link you posted does not take me to an image when I click on it) and paste it into your post between two IMG tags as here:

Except replace the parentheses with square brackets. There's also a insert image button if you are using a full reply and not quick reply, it looks like a picture of a mountain.

I'm far from an expert and you are posting what looks like a decent win rate over a small sample, but your PFR is too small or VPIP too high, see Vinnie's post two or so above yours.
