Ok, after two months playing NL10 i've reached 20k hands, half on PS, half on EVP.

I'd appreciate any comments, thanks !

Comments would be very much appreciated.

If all is well, I would like to give 10nl a shot. I have 23BI's for 10nl at this moment.
I just took a shot at 10nl and I lost 3.5 buyins in like 800 hands. Moving back down. And hopefully someone could give me a push in the right direction from looking at my stats?

You are flat calling raises too much preflop, 27/17 is a bit too much of a gap between you pfr and vpip.

Tighten up from the small blind, you are completing with far too loose a range and thus end up playing a ton of marginal hands OOP.

Also stop open limping in 6 max, your UTG stats are 21/16 meaning you are limping 5% of you hands UTG this is a huge leak, you should be raising or folding from this position.

You also have exactly the same stats for UTG and UTG+1, you should be opening you raising range as you get closer to the button

So, I started playing NL50 seriously in September, where I had a +800 months with roughly 25k hands. This month, I played even more... and barely broke even. And I have to be honest that I'm fairly clueless as to why. I kinda have the feeling that I'm losing tons from the blinds, but I can't really nail it down. So, somebody PLEASE help me, I'm frustrated to no end with my one month breakeven stretch. :-(
Is it just bad luck this month or do I suck horribly and had lots of luck before?

Sorry I forgot to come back and reply.

I think your stats look pretty good, you could maybe loosed your opening range up a bit from UTG, and add a few more hands in other positions as well, but the style your are using is fine.

You seem to be winning at a decent rate so I would just keep up what your doing and work on your postflop skills until you're ready to move up.

Overall your stats look pretty solid.

Your 3-bet % is probably a little high though, I would probably try and tone this down a bit to 6-7% at most.

Not sure if you can do this in PT3 as I use HEM but try and filter by 3-bet pots and see how much you are winning or losing. If you are winning a lot then disregard my previous advice.

As you said you seem to be losing a lot of money out of the blinds, to fix this what I would do is really narrow down the range of hands you're playing out of the blinds until you get more comfortable playing pots OOP, then slowly start playing more hands until if becomes unprofitable to add any more.

Also try and narrow your cold calling range preflop down a bit. Your VPIP/PFR are currently 20.4/15.9, try and narrow the gap between these to 2-2.5.

For someone playing 20/15 I would expect allot of this to be tilt. Since you won at a rate of about 3ptBB (?) over 25K hands, I would expect you to be a winning player in the long run. You are a pretty tight player so you have to expect to get sucked out on, since most times your money will be in ahead.

Here are your PokerStars Game Statistics for your last 2000 games
************************************************** ********
2000 hands played and saw flop:
- 66 times out of 373 while in small blind (18%)
- 144 times out of 374 while in big blind (39%)
- 189 times out of 1253 in other positions (15%)
- a total of 399 times out of 2000 (20%)

Pots won at showdown - 60 out of 110 (55%)
Pots won without showdown - 313
************************************************** ********

Can you draw any conclusions out of this?

You are playing more hands in the small blind than you are in the cut off, that has to be a leak. Tighten up your SB range and widen CO/BTN range if you want to be looser.

Firstly can you post more detailed stats and stats by position?

Based on what you posted you are flat calling far too much pre-flop. You should have at most a 2-3% gap between your Vpip and pfr. try to play more a 18/16 style rather than 18/11.5.

Here's my NL50 stats. These are over the course of almost the whole year so I've probably changed quite a bit as a player as I went along. Please let me know what you think.
