So not just anyone. At a minimum you have to have 10k in winnings, just not sure if that is enough or if you also need an invitation.

removed.* Pontylad

Sorry AG but it's a 2+2 rule that you are not allowed to solicit for charities. My apologies but I had to remove this.

100% taking effect, it's likely anything from 24 hours to a week or two but i imagine sooner rather than later.

pretty much terrible news for almost every site, Australia provides such a high fish/reg ratio

looks like it may not be law till end of april now, so possibly we get 1 month unless the sites just decide to pull out sooner than that

Australia is a huge market, I'd be surprised if stars does not create some Australian domain site, like stars.fr, .es etc?

Or you guys are banning online poker in general, not just licensing it?

it is an outright online gambling ban, only thing left there is sports betting

Yeah, full blown ban no licences.

Not posted a graph on 2+2 in a while but after checking my current DB for stars I thought I may as well share.

this is a few years not all stars result. I think it's clear there is still money to be made at poker.

I was watching some of the coverage and the arguments for banning online gambling are always so ridiculous. Not saying gambling isn't a problem for many people, but the responsibility lies with the individual. If we need to be protected from playing a card game on the internet, then surely they should be banning alcohol and tobacco and maybe online shopping.
