It's pretty crazy what hands you are supposed to stab with OTT when you look at some sims. For instance.

SBvsBB A98r board - let's say we call a 1/2 pot bet OTF with a hand like Q8o.

Turn comes a T - SB checks. We are supposed to be betting this hand OTT most of the time and then bluff on blank rivers.

Before I would always just X back because lol SDV.

Yep, my redline has been decent for April because I'm starting to recognize when I am at the bottom of my SDV and villain is mega capped.

What's great is it tends to be smaller pots so it's not a huge deal when they occasionally find a call, and it gives you a more aggro image

It def makes things easier and also helps to think in terms of just bb's instead of the actual dollar amount.

It helps a lot for me. I use Table Tamer, it translates to $ to BB and you can set up hotkeys which increases my hands/hour by alot on Zone

Yeah I use JuroJin and recently tried playing with stacks as BB.

Too early to say if it's making a difference, but I have no complaints about it.

Word. This is a leak of mine I need to stop auto piloting plus grow some balls my RL is trash.

Speaking of auto piloting. I also learned a leak of mine was being too passive in the SB preflop when it folds to me.

This is interesting but if you think about his checking range and 8 is not beating anything.
I think I am also not aggressive in this spot and might be one of the leaks.

If it is rainbow board, you have to ask if you have any natural bluffs or not. You fold some Qx,Jx, most 7X on the flop and there is not enough bluff for you. The T98 connected very well with your offsuit flat region, you many offsuit two pair combos. So you will consider turning some lower pocket pairs or some 8X into the bluffing range.

Thank you. The last 5k hands or so were very hard to get in. The newness of getting back in poker has worn off, already feeling burned out.

I'm going to need to find some sort of motivation to put in more volume and to continue to work on my game.

If that graph doesn't do it then little else will

1. Shot taking was gross
2. Volume met
3. Did manage to get more studying in, and got into the habit of marking at least 2-3 hands per session to review afterwards.
4. Lost a little weight, but not 10 lbs.


One of the things I just found out in DriveHUD, is that it will tell you the top 20 hands that have lost the most $ for the time period you have filtered.

For me, #'s 1, 2 and 6 were 54s, 76s and 65s

So I think I'm going to dig into those a little deeper to find out why I lost so much with them. Was it because I opened them in EP/MP? Did I 3bet too light against the wrong type of opponent?

@newguyhere nice RL and maybe opening too loose from EP I pure fold those hands from LJ and mix from HJ depending on players left, whos in the blinds etc..



Managed to get out the month with my confidence rising every so slightly. It was very frustrating results wise I essentially BE from the 6k mark to EOM. The fact that it was at 100NL, a limit I so desperately want to win at, was very very frustrating. But after grinding all month there I feel pretty confident I'm a winner just need some of that HEAT to turn things around in May. GL in May fam.

PS...@DooDooPoker are you going to start a new thread or maybe we should PM mod and change title every month? what do u think

I looked them over, definitely losing when I open them in EP. I'm just going to lower my frequencies with them, and maybe use the cold call stat more often.

The biggest losses came from overbluffing with them.

I would guess anyone can create a new post and just change the month? I don't want to create one and get in trouble with the mods or w/e

Yeah anyone can make a new thread. I was thinking it would be cool to have one long progressive thread so when one of us soars to high stakes we can just go back itt to see when hero was playing for cheeseburgers and get that inspirational boost. Just an idea though I'm down for whatever
