Since this is a bad board for my range where I will have to X a lot, I decided to Xback this overpair that doesn't have to worry about protection and can continue on heart turns. Should we call river? we do block the NF but QJ got there

    I like the flop check.

However, I think check raising on the flop could also be a viable option. This is an extremely wet flop and we can expect many weaker hands to call.

If we chose to check call flop, check raising turn is mandatory given that the 3d makes the board even wetter and there are many river cards that we do not like. Again, we could also get many weak hands to call here as well.

    Info on villain?

Don't know about flop check, probably ok, but I'm betting a huge % of my range after 3-betting a CO open from the blinds so not really balanced to check AA here. But then balance is wildly overrated.

    As played definitely crai turn.

When i studied with solvers, I saw that it is Xraising overpairs that are vulnerable but decides to XC with AA on boards like these since it does not have to worry about protection. However, you could be right about shoving turn! thanks for the feedback!

that doesnt seem right to be honest! COs range is much more condensend then for example BU v BB 3betcall. I was surprised how often a solver checks even dryer boards. And from reading a thread of yours (I think it was BB v BU 3bet on Q74ttK) I think youre barreling to wide!

flop is a likely x, dont xr AA otf...

turn imo could be a jam but Im inclined not to do it holding Ah, it makes more sense to do it with the black aces

ap, this combo is a decent bluffcatcher otr so im OK with calling. There are some natural bluff with 76s,87s,J8s, diamonds...

this all looks fine. aces without the nut flush blocker is a lot closer to being a fold, but this has to be a call I think
