I’m not checking or folding at any point. Not many combos beat you. 1 combo of QTss and 2 combos of JTs. 3 combos of 66 so you lose to 6 combos, if you want to throw TT in there we can call it 7

Check and decide. When you shove river, you're repping a boat and you do not have a boat.

Even with the paired board your hand is pretty under repped. This is mostly gona be a check call for me. Villain's boats are JJs/66s full so that's a pretty small part of his range.

Raise bigger preflop, bet flop, c/raise turn bigger. As played block river?

Checking otr as well. Shoving is just going to get calls from boats. Blocking bet? What are we doing against a shove? Folding? Doesn't feel good.

Checking allows v to valuebet boats and Tx, thinly with Qx and maybe bluff with some fd combos.

Why would villain "valuebet" Tx or Qx? Wishfull thinking much?

It's a clear shove and it should be very obvious since "You shouldn't bluff at nl5 because they call too much". There is no way check/calling is better if "villains call too much and don't bluff enough". And we don't need 50% equity when called, not even close!

A great example of weaktight conflictual thoughts if I've ever seen one : "they call a lot.. except when we valuebet thin of course"

Checking river is pretty bad

Let's attempt to construct Villains range when he calls the turn C/R.

We're behind 66/JTs/QTs, assuming he's 3-betting QQ-TT. (6 combos)
We're ahead of QJ/KQ/K9s/89s, assuming he's shoving AQdd/KQdd/89dd maybe? (16 combos. I think.....might have done the math wrong)

Think it's pretty likely you're getting called by all these combo's if you shove, but they have enough showdown value to check back QJ/KQ which makes up most combos. As such I think shoving is the right play.
