Is a 3b pre not an option given deep stacks, positions & hand strength?

his range looks draw heavy as played. since we block Diamonds i assume he picked some equity OTT with spades? i can't think of so many value Hands (besides 99+) that Play that way. do we really want to check back TPTK? thin value? bet 1/2 pot?

looks ok to me.

I'd also bluff river big vs a reg that can fold an overpair.

I guess I should elaborate. The thing about using 8x here is as you said you need them to fold strickly overpairs+ to turn a profit which is overambitious to begin with at this stake.

Secondly its not about being good or conservative enough to fold overpairs, nobody calling with an overpair thinks they are beating anything. The thing about the river is most players arent "good enough" to value bet less than a straight here. So for you to be value betting you'd need to have been bluffing at some point, so you're capable of bluffing, in a spot where you get to river with more bluff combos than value combos so if I get to river with a nice overpair not blocking too many bricked draws I'm clicking call just to see whats up, and I'm one of the foldiest players going.

Thank you for that!

In some spots I bet 2x Pot river for value against regs I've played with, and I balance it with 2x Pot river bluff.
Not sure about this whole thing, and I think I won't be doing that at NL10 anymore.

Worked great on 2/5 Live when my image according to V is LAG fish, but than again that's exploitative AF.

Also if you're in London and play 1/2 deep, 2/5 at Hippodrome big chance we've played together, and big chance I've lost money to you

lol unfortunately I couldnt have been a lucky recipient.

Yeah live is completely different, definitely agree with pushing your exploits drawn from live reads. Whos got time to wait for optimal bluff combos with the million dollar blockers when the other guy is practically telling you he will fold if you breathe on the pot.
