Want a line check here - is my call good?

I don't think villain actually has all that many flushes given all the blockers on the board and in my hand - and very few if any worse

It's best you move down if you're considering folding turn

What is the question? This is a cooler. I would take a note that villains flatting range is A/Ks so basicly he has no 3bet strat.

@ Ojune - just trying out NL25 for the first time, so still figuring things out.

BUT - in general villains aren't bluffing enough at lower levels with turn raises- so I don't need to make myself unexploitable. It may be the case that somehow the population is bluffing enough here, although it would surprise me.

I don't believe that villains will be raising with anything other than a flush here. The fully range of villain flushes I think he can have is:

AsJs,KsJs,AsTs,KsTs,JsTs,As9s,Ks9s,Js9s,Ts9s,As8s, Ks8s,Js8s,Ts8s,9s8s,As7s,9s7s,As5s,7s5s,As4s,5s4s - against which I have equity of 18%.

This is wrong. The "Spazzfactor" at microstakes is quite high. Sure, there are many passive players that have nitty raisingranges, but there are also bad regs and bad agressive players. Many players also have a bad understanding of relative handstrength and just don't know what is correct. Therefor, you will see sometimes hands like Qx with a Spade kicker, sets and 2pair. Maybe not all that often, but combined with worse flushes and the occasional spade- or pure bluff you definetly can stack of here, with how much money is in the pot. It is a 3bet pot...

The widespread notion that you can play an heavily unbalanced, valueheavy, overfolding strategy at the micros is not true (anymore) in my opinion. Or at least it will lead to a marginal winrate and the learning of bad habits. It will show on your hud and people will adjust

Cooler! I'm likely 3betting less pre-flop. 2-2.5 will probably get the same result (I'm assuming we are wanting a fold).

Thanks all - had an unlikely number of what I considered to be coolers - and wanted to check some hands to check I wasn't off base. Much happier with my call now

Should we be 3betting by the way? I heard we have to 3bet hand like this occasionaly because calling is less good with the high rake... But this is usually a call for me since

I don't know whether its good or not, but I'm 3betting very wide BB v SB as a default.

-I'm not sure we want to 3bet this wide ??
-Do people never 4bet ?
( the villain seems to be the kind who never 4bets but I'm just curious )

id call turn with the flush all day long...

3betting is definetly plus EV, the question is if flatting is better which i think it is
