Should we be mainly betting or checking here with flush draws, what kind of hands apart from sets should we be mainly betting here?

- Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (UTG): 112.2 BB
MP: 200 BB
CO: 199.75 BB
BTN: 266.75 BB
SB: 137.9 BB
BB: 52.15 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K Q

Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, SB calls 2.5 BB, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (9 BB, 3 players) T 7 6
SB checks, BB checks, Hero ???

Can go both ways. Check because we are never folding enough of their range on this board and it sucks to get raised with so much equity... however it might be good to bet with all that equity if we hit we gain to win a bigger pot.

In the micros I tend to bet when I have the equity since getting raised doesn't happen all that often and if we do we might find a weaker draw or a tp hand that we're ahead of anyway.

I imagine we should x very very often, the board smashed both their ranges

Betting flop gets you to the river quite often.

Not bad to bet, not bad to check

It depends on what type of villains you're facing. Vs unknowns I would probably bet 6BB but checking would be fine too. If you check and don't improve on the turn, you'll still be able to call if one of them bets out.

I like to bet and take initiative on this one. The flop can hit their ranges pretty well but like someone above said you aren't getting check raised too often. They will be calling with a lot of weak one pair hands that you can get to fold out later when they don't improve. And like he said you can build a pot for when you hit. If you spike a pair on the turn I think we check behind at that point and set up a decent showdown hand right? Obv continuing to bet when we hit flush. Im no expert, but that would seem to be the correct play imo.

I think this is a check. If you bet you are basically semi-bluffing. But what worst hands are you folding? Maybe AJ? You sure do have equity, but I can't see much folding equity that is required for a successful semi-bluff.
As for "building the pot if we hit", I think it is a mistake to start building it OTF without the folding equity, because on this board we can sure built it latter. Just think about it: if he has JT and a J of spade comes OTT. Or if he has 88 and a 9 of spades comes OTT. Or if he has AT and an A of spades comes. And so on. We will have plenty of opportunities to build a big pot latter if we hit (and want to).

It's multiway, and we do not have nut advantage. This is an obvious check-back.

We. Do. Not. Have. Nut. Advantage.

This is a spot where betting large is potentially disastrous. We should be betting small with our betting range.
