Villain is a fish. On the flop I made a 1/3 of the pot c-bet since the board is so dry. I decided to make another c-bet on the turn of 1/2 of the pot because I picked up a straight draw and I had two overcards. On the river I completed the straight and I was pretty confident that I had the best hand but didn't know how big to raise. Is the c-bet okay? Would you shove this river vs a fish? What if villain was a reg? I don't know if regs would call a shove with worse hands.

Fish doesn't tell us anything. What kind of mistakes does he make? If he calls way too much, which I guess is the case, why bet the turn? He's never folding anything he called on the flop with.

Flop bet too small for my taste. Make river raise larger or just shove might be good too.

I also bet flop bigger, i check flop. As Dr_Doctr wrote, if the player is a calling station, why bet turn? Also, if he is a calling station, why not go bigger on the river?

Villain is a 77/1 over 118 hands. Over those hands villain had a 23 % postflop aggression factor, a 32 % WTSD when saw flop (81 hands) and a 39 % flop fold to c-bet (33 hands). I don't give you statistics of the other streets because the sample size is too small.

I bet the turn because I had 8 outs to make the straight and 6 outs to make top pair, that would give me roughly 28 % equity and a half the pot c-bet needs to work 33 % of the time to be profitable. So I thought it was a good time to c-bet the turn. Is it not?

Okay. Yes, I think that maybe I'm too aggressive. Thanks for the input!

Ok, stick those stats in your post, would be easier for people to comment I think.

Turn is not really a good card to barrel and I don't think you're folding out anything you don't have beat besides A-high, maybe not even that. This villain will never fold a 9, obviously not a 6, and probably not a pocket pair.
