Quick run down of my history

So, roughly 1.5yrs ago I played my very first hand of poker. From then til now I have played recreationally on and off. Over the last month I have decided if I am going to play, that I need to put some effort into getting better. I bought blackrains micros ebook and also joined RIO as well. I have a decent winrate of 4bb/100 at 10nl, but decided to go back to 2nl to implement what I have learned from blackrain and RIO. Now onto the hand.

As you can see the PFR is shaping up to be a very active passive type rec. When he opens utg+1 I am giving him roughly 20% RFI range. When the SB flats, I take the oppurtunity to iso the rec in utg1. when he calls my 3bet, I am taking out most of the top of his opening range.

on the flop I feel we are ahead of most of his range here, except possibly JJ. I dont think he flats AA or KK. So i bet small??? on turn when i bet again and he min raises me off his stack, alarm bells should of went off, but it seems at 2nl players like this often over play a hand like KJs K10s KQs AQs AJs ect.
QT never crossed my mind and I excluded that hand from his range (for better or worse). at that point I think i am committed and just raised all in for the remaining 40 cents or whatever it was.
1. Was this a good sizing pre?
2. sizing on flop ok?
3. what to do on turn? what to do on turn as played?

It’s better of leaving results out anyway mate. It can alter feedback.

I’d raise bigger pre. Oop 4-5x, add another on for the caller. 17.5bb.

After we hit top two pair in a 3 spr pot it’s s bit of a cooler.

I think we can bet bigger on the flop since it’s so wet. A small merged range bet works, but vs a passive type on this board a bigger bet seems optimal. 50% will do.

The turn min raise is a death line. But villain could overvalue worse two pairs and possibly AQ. However passive types rarely raise one pair hands here.

I don’t think we have to shove, but we can’t call. The moneys going in on the river anyway. All shoving does is force out any unlikely bluffs that might bluff the river.

when he raises us, we have a close decision..

we almost never want to see nothing besides an Ace or a King.. but we want to go all in, because he will have some KJ and AK, besides the JJ..

pretty standard hand.. always going all in..

You can overfold here, because the EV isn't that great in this spot, and the field is indeed a little cooler and nit..

But, I woudn't fold..
I Don't want anyone printing money on me.. hahaha

Thanks for the response guys. I was fairly confident my 3bet sizing pre was to small being OOP +1 caller.

On the flop that makes sense to go larger on a wet board like that. I assume with the spr if i go say 1/2 pot on the flop and he calls, I just jam any turn that's not a Q or 10?

thanks again to both of you!

The effective stack here is 100 BBs..

13bbs OOP is waaaay enough..
14 is over.. you are spending too much when you have bluffs like KQs and worst.. like JTs (rare)

I would have bet half-pot to pot on flop looking to polarize and shove any non q or 10 turn. The fact he open up q10o UTG is lulz not much you can do here.

I make it 16 pre, you want to be hu with the fish and he won't mind calling more

cb size is a big mistake, you want to bet bigger for value and set up a turn shove, 2/3p flop sets up a comfortable turn shove, but you can bet more if you think he calls
