There's a lot I wrote here. Feel free to just comment without reading lol. Summary is vil is one of these players who tries to play LAG at NL10 to mixed results. He likes to make big plays with any suited A, no matter how weak it is, and possibly was tilting from a big beat I had over him earlier. And, after I beat him, he started 3-betting me more.

This hand is all about my read on vil. Even though his stats are terrible, I usually see him up money, w at least 200-300bbs in front of him. His style consists of calling big multiway pots pre flop, and then raising and bluffing everyone off the hand. The times he's been called, he's had a weak A. Essentially, whenever he has a weak A, he makes big calls, and then bluffs big on later streets to take the pot down. In the past, he's called me down 3 betting streets with A4 when I had AK (and I raised from ep with it), and I won with just A-high. We had been battling, and basically my huge stack is all from him. After I won a huge pot from him when we were both deep, he 3-bet me a few times. But, I don't know if he'd 3-bet me enough times yet to definitively say he was always doing this light.

Now, the hand. I don't put him on just big hands because of my read, which is why I call. No point betting the flop, because he likely would raise with his entire range, and I don't want to inflate the pot. When the A comes on the turn, and he bets, I call. I feel like he could do this with a weak A as described above. Again no need to raise, as he almost definitely would raise with his entire range. Then, the flush draw comes in and he goes all in here on the river. So, he either has a weak A, or a 2 pair w an A or flush. He's also possibly good enough to do this with a K, thinking that I think from our past history he only does this with an A. If he has a weak A, I think it's actually an excellent bluff on his part. Ultimately, I folded. I thought from the sizing, it seemed most likely he actually got there with the flush (as he plays any suited A), and was hoping I had a big A, or AK.

tbh i have no clue, that 8d is a ****ty card to show up.
Maybe just 4 bet pre if you think he is 3 betting to wide? That would be free +bb
