-Villain is unknown. Although he is trending towards an aggressive/fishy player, its still early. Stats are scewed because we are playing two tables short handed.
-He doesnt play with full 100BB stat on either table.
-I was planning on Cbetting one and done
-River comes A and he leads into me for pot. Would you call here?

Vil likely has lots of off-suit combos in his range as he's a whale

If this is vil's range: 99,66-55,A8s+,A6s,86s,76s,64s+,A8o+,A6o,86o,76o,64o+

Then it's a fold

If you think vil is capable of having all Ax and is over-value-ing 2-pair, OR has club draws and straight draws then it's a call.

However, in my experience based on his bet sizing he doesn't have any of those missed draws or lower Ax in range, as they don't pot size bet those often enough on A-high boards into the preflop raiser's range.

Since as you say you don't have enough info yet on vil I'd lean towards folding

Check the flop vs the whale with ace high.
