First of all, just a minor point, but title is wrong as action is on the turn.

I would raise slightly bigger pre because if the limper - 4bb would be standard.

As played, I'm happy to call off w/ an overpair here.

make it 5 or 6 pre-flop with all hands you raise, you want to do your best to isolate the fish and not have any of the 4 players behind call or re-raise. don't worry, he's not folding much more to 5-6 than he is to 3bb.

bet as much as possible on the flop, if you think he calls pot, go pot
same applies to the turn, same hands and roughly same draws will continue
once you have potted flop and turn, it's very easy to get the rest of the money in on the river and in your case, there's also little money behind to call when the fish raises

At first I was happily calling but now I'm wondering what are we beating? The only hand I expect a shove from that we beat is AQ and even recs are going to be raising this pre.

I think the turn is a fold. Maybe some limpers suddenly go crazy like this with a random one pair or pr+draw, but they usually have 2pr, a straight or a set when I've seen them take that x-c/x-jam line.

22, J9, and QT all make sense as value-jams for a fishy limper. I think with QJ/JT/J9/T9 he just x-calls again, and you block the other OESD (KJ).

Well done Arty, he had 22. Unfortunately, I called... I didn't think about what he could have, I thought more about my hand... I know I am a beginner.
Thank you for your answer

Whenever someone limp-calls UTG, I immediately put small pairs in their range. It's still incredibly common to see players trying to set-mine cheaply, so when I saw this action sequence I was just gonna write "Fold, he has 22", but recently I've seen a few suited hands like QTs and J9s being played the same way. Be very careful when you have one pair and you see the limp-call/check-call/check-raise line. It's extremely value-heavy in the micros and basically means "I can beat TPTK".
