"Tight Games:

Include hands such as 65s+ or A5s. These hands have a lot of potential and will less often put you into situations where you have weak 1 pair hands out of position. These hands widen you range against likely better players and make you a more difficult and tricky opponent. "

So.... im wondering why you say A5s, but not A5s+. Is this just to make the point your only raising a small suited ace here a fraction of the time? Or is it b/c A5s > A6s for strait reasons?

Yeah it should read as A5s+ but it really can be any suited junk hand, like J8s or whatever. I wasn't really being that specific just trying to explain that you can add in these types of hands

Read the first part, really liked it, about to finish it.

BTW, was this made more for SSNL, or is the whole thing applicable for 25NL-50NL as well, or does it really matter?

this is like ABC 101 so it can be applied anywhere, but specifically to anywhere from NL10-400

this is great work by fees. uNL can really learn a lot from this, especially in 3bet pots where i think a lot of uNL players are uncomfortable with

There looks to be a ton of good info in this. The only problem I'm having, as a poker dummy, is understanding they why's behind some of the advice.

E.g. in the flop donk betting section it says: "The first time I lead into someone I will normally have some weak hand, what I will never do is lead any draw/made hand and check/fold the turn. Sometimes I decide to lead KQ on Axx or T9 on K86 or something, but if I have 98ss with a back door flush draw on Kxx you better believe I'm betting the flop and turn, no matter what the turn is."

I don't understand what is being said exactly or why. Why is it recommended to double barrell donk with 98s into Kxx with a BDFD?

because you have tons of equity on later streets and when he calls your turn bet he will almost always have a hand, if you connect on the river you will seldom not get paid

I fast forwarded to the last page and saw the "no more than 4 tables" line. I wonder how mook feels about that. OBV he's able to do his 17-tabling profitably 8hrs a day.

Thanks for the answer. Could you possibly clarify the following?

Are you saying that "The first time I lead into someone I will normally have AT LEAST some weak hand" or that you specifically like to do it with weaker hands which would have no other chance of taking the pot?

When you say "if I have 98ss with a back door flush draw on Kxx you better believe I'm betting the flop and turn, no matter what the turn is" - how does this fit "when he calls your turn bet he will almost always have a hand, if you connect on the river you will seldom not get paid" - if the turn is not the 4th flush card which obviously eliminated the possibility of hitting it on the river?

Thanks again.
