I'm actually not 100% what the vpip/raise will be, probably like 19/16 or 18/15 something like that. also i didnt do BB and SB soo.. lol whoops, so far so good feeling pretty motivated 2 add more, but plz give opinions after you actually read it
If you don't mind me asking, why are you writing this? Are you planning on selling it at some point? It seems like a lot of work to just give back to the community.
Just one question .. how do you arrive at those bluff to value three betting ranges .. and are the ones you mention on the tight side (safe safe mommy safe) or is it your normal ranges ?
gelford, they are mostly fabricated most of the 3betting stuff is all based on flow and history, but the one I developed in the book is something that I know can't get people into trouble and also gets them used to being aggressive and going after opponents.
fwiw im prob like a 3-4 bet winner at 6m and 5-7 at HU
stats are prob like 21/17 but like don't worry about stats cuz i can play like 28/24 at some tables and 16/14 at others, all based on opponents
Just finished reading it at work. Definitely a good read and look forward to the rest, if you continue.
I liken it to reading one of the NL books that are out there, but stripping out a lot of the math and extracurricular stuff found in them. I guess my one criticism would be that the mathematical backing for mixing some of your plays up is not there in a few places. You give a reason why you should mix it up, but not why the percents are as you wrote them. Similar to Gelford's comment. TBH though I think that bogs down a lot of readers anyway. Which is sort of good and bad...because this book is almost like a cookbook for a solid 6max NL game and a quick read at that. (Please stop teaching the fish lol) Give it a catchy title like 'Solid SixMax No Limit in Sixty Minutes.'
