First hand of the session. What do we do with this draw on the turn? Is the call pre-flop too loose? Should I have check/raised flop?

At the time, I was wondering if I raised all in, how often would I get two fold?

with the pot odds you're getting and how strong in equity your hand is, you can call the turn and c/f 100% of rivers you miss and still make money

I don't think you should c/r the flop with the short stacked fish in the hand, but it's not that bad if you do, you have so much eq, nothing you do is bad, except folding. Doesn't make sense to lead or c/r turn at all.

Thanks for reply. How does the short stacked fish change our thought processes on whether to c/r or c/c?

I think I would just fold turn. We're getting a great price but it's very likely that half of our outs are dirty or blocked. I would only feel good about getting it in with a non spade A or 6.

the fish is more likely to continue to your raise than the reg would and your hand right now, as well as on many turns, is 5 high. Furthermore, because he is short stacked, he's more likely to try to get the money in with a made hand or a draw of his own and he won't be folding on most turns (also more likely to shove turns when you check to him)

since the fish took a passive approach and just called the reg's cbet, you can assume he will play most turns passively as well and let you see a river.
