As I'm getting used again to playing poker online after a long break and never really being a winning player I'm looking for some advice or suggestions on my MP-range (and actually on all of my ranges, but let's go at it one at a time). I'm basing myself on some older materials I have lying around. I'm playing NL2 at pokerstars.

I'm opening: 22+, AT, KJ, JTs (13,7%)

vs UTG open:
I'm 3betting JJ+, AK. on a 4Bet without reads i'm folding out JJ. i'm 5bet-shoving QQ+, AK
I'd call 22-TT, AQ, AJs, KQs.

vs 3bet
vs a 3 bet from the blinds or UTG I continue with QQ+ (4bet), 22-JJ, AK (flatting).
vs a 3 bet from behind I 4bet QQ+, AK
when deep, I call any pocketpairs as well.

It might be a too tight/conservative but for playing OOP most of the time it could be a good range to build from. With more experience I'm going to widen it up.

What do you guys think about this ?
Thanks in advance.

small pairs don't make for very profitable opens and can be folded
you're better off opening suited broadways and aces than weak offsuit broadways and weak pairs

when utg opens, fold the small pairs, call 99-JJ, AQs,AJs, can also call AK and QQ if utg is particularly nitty, otherwise 3b and call 4bets. AQo and ATs can play as 3b or fold.

when you get 3b, see what I said in your utg ranges post, but be willing to call a little bit wider.

Dump the baby pairs. They are ****.
Just play a little bit looser than UTG, with an emphasis of nut-making hands (suited Broadways, suited aces, and T9s+). Maybe go up to 18%.

Okay.. that would make it look like:

vs an UTG open
3bet: QQ+,AK, sometimes AQo, ATs
calling: JJ-77, AQs, AJs, sometimes QQ,AK

vs a 3bet IP
4bet: QQ+
calling: 99-JJ, AK, AJs+,JTs+

vs a 3bet OOP
4bet: QQ+, AK, bluff weaker Ax
calling 99+, AQs, AJs

Any thoughts ?

I think this covers MP considering the advice in the UTG topic and the above. I considered most of it but for some reason I can't let go of the thought of setmining the smaller pocket pairs.

I've been putting some volume in and I'm leaking lots of money by playing too loose when I'm loosing attention. Thats why I went to plan for a general gameplan for every position. I don't think that is a bad approach on NL2 Zoom. I kept it as nitty possible because well I have a tendency to widen it up anyway.

Thanks guys

That range looks pretty reasonable. I think you can add 66/55 though. Very occasionally they stack someone's lower set. (And that's partly why 44-22 are terrible, because they get oversetted more often).

When you get 3-bet, you can't do much calling if you're OOP, but you can call a LOT more often when you have position. e.g. with QQ I almost always flat if the blinds 3-bet me. In fact, the only hand that is 100% 4-bet when the blinds 3-bet me is AA, balanced by some Ax that can't profitably call.

Go slightly wider and it’s good to go (18% is fine).
