6-max

Folded to Hero in the cutoff, who raises to $1.50 (82bb eff.) with KK
BB calls

J 8 2

(Pot = $3.25)

BB checks
Hero bets $2.50
BB raises to $7
Hero ?
......................................

Hero called in game, but given the number of unsafe turns I think it's a raise and gii spot or check back for pot control. Thoughts?

Call me old-fashioned, but 3-betting the flop with one pair for value seems unrealistic. I'd just call.

I would still call. By calling, we keep some worse hands in villain's range. By raising, I think we would narrow villain's range to mostly stronger hands and strong draws.
I would rather call and keep villain bluffing.

Call flop to keeps bluffs in his range. Call turn (10s you said). If no 9 or Q on river I'd call. Even if hearts come in you have K of hearts so player dependent I'd consider a call.
