I call against this kind of player. See too many very loose players showing up with a 5 in this spot. Even 7x or 88,99,TT. Thinking that they improved by having 2P.

I normally would, but I haven't seen him spaz. It's weird that he did it right after I raised this flop.

I think this is about right or smells of over played AK, your calling here as most of the time you win, **** happens he may have set so still good call.

I need to win 44% of the time factoring in rake. I don't think he has overcards. I don't think he does this with bad 7x that much either, but I included 100% of his 7s and some other hands that I crush, and I still only get 47%:

Dont think you need to call this, but could go either way really

Agree with 2019fish. If I go through my database, these are the spots where I lose the most chips. I try not to call All-In with just one pair, unless I know somehow I might beat him.

I was on a huge, huge losing streak, and these hands were the main reason.

Give up and fold

I mean you can always dream that the fish has a 5 or 7 here for some reason, but they are fish, they rarely play agressive without pretty much the nuts. Certainly there are some splashy fun players who I've played with that I could call in this spot after seeing some questionable play from previous hands but as a default I prefer a fold

agree

I only would call if I saw him do stuff like this with very questionable hands before (preferably multiple times)

probably only would call the flop too.
passive guys like this need some kind of hand to get active, even if we are ahead by a good margin on the flop, I don't wnat to bloat it here.

I don't think that's what they usually are thinking. I think they see it as a good spot to bluff the paired six, which they think you will believe that they have (sometimes they do, and were just trying to get value in the most ******ed way imaginable though, unfortunately).

Fair enough.

My thought process when I saw the turn card was, "That's a pretty decent card because he's never folding pair when I bet." He shoved before I was halfway through the thought.

fish or not, I don't think you want to build a big pot on this flop with a mediocre hand that is likely to be outdrawn by the river
