This line ok against an unknown but seemingly bad player? Think I’ll have AA/KK/QQ/AQ/KQs that I can call flop and turn jam with here so we don’t need to be calling these spots.

Hi guys.
I came here to give answers, but now I have questions.

First my unexperienced answer: I like the line you do. I'd do the same.

My questions:
1.- What is the range of V?
I think V has faced cards, some Ax, PP.

2.- I don't like the raise option OTF. I think you only get paid by hands which defeat you, and the V will fold hands that you win, so we only risk money. Obviously you think different. why?

Good luck at the tables!!

Villain's range is gonna be whacky. Cold-calls pre, flats 3bet OOP, donks the flop. I mean it's probably just a bunch of Qx and FD right?

I think it's a fine fold OTT tbh. Holding the Jh kind of sucks because it makes it less likely that villain has a FD. You don't beat any of their value. They would have to be very bluff-happy for you to justify a call. They would have to be getting way out of line with a bunch of 55-TT and flush draws.

1. I think Tombos sums this up well and is in line with my thought process.
2. We weren’t saying we would raise JJ here, but other hands in our range like AA, KK, AQ, etc.

Yeah Jh was a factor in folding, and read less I think it is a fold too. Marginal possibly but vs a V like this I think there will be less marginal spots to stack him.

Thanks Tombos and GOYL for your answers.
I used to play a few years ago, but now I'm a little rusty. I remember this kind of forums were really, really helpful.

Good luck!
