I keep on leaking on AK played preflop where I, out of position, 4bet. Sometimes, I shove directly preflop but I don't think the times I get called make up for the folds (where I don't win so much and lose on the chance to play such a premium hand). And if I directly 4bet allin they seem to always know it's AK and call with their pairs. But it's also not good to just call OOP preflop. I seem to find myself at a dead end with AK, help me

4Bet size is too big for my taste (I go for arounf 2.5x or even smaller, that way I dont waste too much money if I get called and have to fold postflop).

I also Cbet 1/3 pot in 4Bet pots.

That way I waste about 30bb up to that point, you wasted 53,5bb.

On the flop, it depends if I think he is ever just calling a 4Bet with AK. If he is not, I don't really beat anything he called with so I don't think a Cbet is profitable.

Does that make any sense?

Do you have any reads on villain?

Readless...i don't think I would 4bet against villain.

This flop isn't going to connect with our oop 4bet hand. We have A and K blockers here, and villain didn't 5bet shove preflop. I would expect to see JJ and QQ fairly often here from villain. I don't think our cbet bluff is working very well for us here. It hits villain's calling range better than it hits our range.

The c-bet is suicidal, villain will never fold anything that beat us.

If villain is any good, he should never have 22-66 here.

Since, hero didn't provide us with any reads though, who knows what villain's range is?!

CO is 3-betting and calling a 4-bet at 100BB effective with a small pair? Don't be daft.

Indeed, it is 10nl afterall. Think about how many chicken nuggets you could buy with these bbs?!

To be honest if he plays a small pp that way pf, he might as well shove it on T87r.

4-bet seems fine. I'm not sure about the flop though. I wouldn't go that big with any hand, and without the BDFD, it might be better to check. As said earlier in the thread, villain has a lot of QQ/JJ. (He also might have some AK you can fold out).
I don't know what else you're 4-betting, but you might have some more obvious c-bet bluffs in this spot. Conversely, if your 4-bet range is very narrow (like QQ+/AK) you might go 25% of pot with 100% of your range.
