How do you play AJ, KJ, QJ?

I'm a small loser with suited broadway jacks and a big loser with offsuit broadway jacks.
I have no idea how to play them.
I am not happy 3betting AJo and seeing an ace on the flop with a caller. At which point, I feel like I may as well have just 3bet with Ax and I could fold easier.
Making jacks top pair is also painful. Opponents often show up with stronger kickers, overcards and pair + draws.
I am pretty much lighting money on fire when there's a jack in my hand. Please provide some guidance.

Do you perhaps 3bet from early positions (for example CO vs MP or EP) with the off-suit variances? Because they are just folds.

Those hands tend to make medium strength top pair hands. If you overplay them you can value cut yourself pretty bad. Try playing them a bit slower. They tend to work pretty well that way for a few reasons
- mostly want to get 2 streets
- when J pairs you have an overcard (less vulnerable than JT for example)
- when high card pairs there aren't as many overcards
- when you check a pair and hit 2 pair next street, it is usually a card that you could plausibly be bluffing
When you are involved in a hand, ask yourself what hands do you want to get paid off by? What hands do you not want to pay off? How will each of those hands react to your actions?

I have pre flop play designated by position vs position. Spreadsheet.
UTG open, and responses to action from each position, that is one sheet. A sheet for every position 6 max.
There is no straight forward way for every position with AJo, KJo, etc. Sometimes open and fold to 3bet. Sometimes 3bet. Depends on where you are, and where the rfi is.
