I'm at least seeing a river and possibly calling it too depending on what it is and bet size. I think most players are stabbing with air after we check twice.

Im folding vs villain on turn bet, villain has no suggestion of being overly aggressive so I think at worst hes got a solid A to call a 3b pre-f or a pair and if an Ace comes on river we chop or get no action if opponent has a pair which is the rest of his range here as he presumably bets any flush draw on the flop after we check.

Then if no ace or queen hit on river can we bet and get enough folds? Probably not on this board and we have to fold to any bet.

Bet flop. Why do you check?

AP call at least once.

I personally wouldn't bet flop. If somebody led into me on this board SB vs BTN I am floating with my whole range and betting turn if he checks on a good turn. I would lead on the turn though after he checks back for sure

Checking flop's fine IMO. Also don't mind a 1/3 PSB range bet.

Turn seems kind of close to a value bet, but I would definitely at least c/c one as played.

I think you should be range betting that flop about 1/3 pot. Unlikely villain has QQ-AA. Villains range on the BU in a 3bet pot should be quite wide but this guy seems like a nit so I would assign him a tighter range. Nits won't float you in 3bet pots (or at all) because they don't need to. They will have plenty of good hands they can call you with. So by betting the flop you can narrow his range down to a pp or a fd and fold out hands with equity such as JsKs. I Doubt he calls your 3bet with many 9x maybe 109s and A9s with two nines otf I wouldn't be two worried about it. You can fire most turns and since the board is already paired villain should be more likely to fold his fd's,sets are unlikely and his pp start to feel the heat. You can also fire again otr. A scare card like K would be nice but if it's a blank you've been repping QQ+ so villain will still have a hard time calling with anything that isn't 9x or a set, very few combinations.

As played I like that you check the turn.Villain doesn't have much equity if he's behind you (unless he has a fd). You may get value from worse Axs (if he even calls pre with Axs) and AJ combos that would x back. But seeing as you have an ace the likelihood of villain having one goes down and the likelihood of villain having a pp goes up. Therefore I would x/c allow villain to bluff and on a A,K,Q river I would then lead. On a blank river I would x/f vs this particular opponent who seems on the nitty side.

I think the problem with checking flop is we wont usually be checking over pairs and we rarely 3bet any worse pairs. We probably need KK in our checking range to be able to check AQs. I agree with the guy who said we should be betting range on this flop. 1/3 seems appropriate.

AP I fold turn. V has all the 9s and we almost never have a boat. Either we have 6 outs and are drawing dead some % of the time or we gave up the betting lead and lose unimproved when he barrels river. If you are going to call turn you probably need to call all rivers.
