Villain plays 62/23 and is quite passive. On the flop he has a donk bet range of 18%, quite big. How do you suggest I play this?

Calling flop, raising is a disaster not much worse calls all in and at best are flipping against his call vs shove.

More stats would help make a decision but best to fold flop or call once, definitely do not play for stacks here. You only beat KJ and maybe a few other kings whereas you lose to anything else he is betting (assuming he donks top 18% which is reasonable) other than flush draws which have a ton of equity against you anyway and he will sometimes barrel those. The relevant stats in addition to what you have given is rfi, ft3b, all sample sizes, and what preflop raise sizings he has used in the past. If he has enough top pair hands here you can stack off, but you can only determine this from the stats I mentioned.

+1 to calling flop. I think we're planning to fold turn pretty often though.

I don't have a lot of hands on villain, only about 166. I don't have the "raise first in" stat but I assume it won't differ a lot from PFR (23). From this sample he folded to around 50% of 3 bets. You are saying I should've called flop and folded on the turn 3?

I find folding hard in these spots vs huge whales like this one. If the flop was KQx we would just call it down, right?

I would guess this guy has a rfi of around 30-35. The 50% FT3B would then suggest he continues with 15% of hands which is pretty tight and you have to fold flop because that range will not contain enough weak Kx. If he folded 0% to 3b over a sample size 3+ and he donks any top pair for a big size then you can jam. It's probably not even worth considering doing anything other than calling once or folding unless he has donked this size with weak top pairs before.

If the flop was KQ2r then you can jam because you basically lose to KQ +some frequency of qq+ given he will 4b those a lot, and you beat KJ + maybe JT and whatnot, giving you enough equity to put your stack in. Also you will not be able to call down for less than your whole stack given spr which is a major reason for jamming given that fish will always call wider than they will value bet.
