yes fold looks good. river donks from recs are generally pretty nutted (at least in their eyes, they think they have a good hand - which usually happens to beat op)

I actually don’t hate a call. Rounding off some numbers for easy use, we have to defend about 57% of the time to keep V indifferent to bluffing. I think, given the action, AA falls in the top 58% of our hands that can beat a bluff. So, it is kind of a nasty spot, but I think it’s a call.

so in situations like this you have to think about how strong you look to your opponent and what he thinks about YOUR range. All your doing is looking at AA and saying I have an over pair I call. I guarantee your beat here hes never bluffing. You not only iso raised him but barreled 2 times into him he knows at this point your not bluffing. It looks like he back doored a flush on you and is donking out not as a bluff but for value. Eve the sizing 8/11 this looks super strong. This is a easy fold.

There are a ton of assumptions and guessing happening here. I am not agreeing or disagreeing with them but merely pointing out that once we start making decisions based on thinking we know exactly what our opponent is doing we open ourselves up to just getting absolutely destroyed when they aren't doing what we think they are.

I don't think that's your main concern versus a fish/whale though. You're more concerned that they are over valuing their hand.

But all-in all, most fish/whales will lead on the river for this sizing or more when they have a big hand. There aren't enough draws that missed, so it looks like a narrow fold, but it's close.

+1
Just stick to the math and make decisions based on that.

Fold. He probably has A2ss-A5ss a bunch here. Regardless of what he actually has, we're not good ~30%.

I would mash flop and turn, not expecting the fish to fold pairs and many broadways

Raise bigger pre, bet bigger OTT.
River is an easy fold, UTG limps pre, he'll have a bunch of weak Axs in his range, probably had a gutshot on the flop, picked up the flushdraw on the turn and now is trying to take you to valuetown.
