V appears to be a reg after 30 hands

Think there is an argument for flatting the flop. I could go either way, anyone like a flat better?

As played, what are you doing OTR vs donk jam?

was going to check back river if he checked to me since I don't expect this V to call with one pair OTR. Plan on the flop was to raise and barrel most turns to charge all overpairs, Ax diamonds, and sets / 2pairs.

That's the ugliest board!

I am ok with your play. As played I would call.

V is not a good reg. Should never cb here.

I'd fold to donk and say ty for saving my money. Also riv donk is terrible.

V is whale

Thanks for replies.
I ended up folding the hand. I'm waiting for the hand history to be available for download to check what he had, if anyone cares ill post it when I find out.

@brokenstars that's a good point about v not being a good reg.

Could you explain why this is?

KK/AK w/Kd.

River fold is ok, I’d rather flat a street then decide in position. Our hand is vulnerable/drawing dead against a ton of flop action so I wouldn’t mind peeling one more to see what villain does first.

If we want to raise flop, make it a little more. Villain getting 2:1 on his call and I’d like to charge him more to see the next card

For value?

Is it because of board texture villain shouldn't cbet or because of positions as well?

Is there any other reasons to consider?
What hands would you vbets ad villain?
Have you considered which hands you'd bluff as villain?
What hands do you think the IP will call fold or raise vs a bet?

I'd raise flop too, probably smaller, x back turn and probably call river. When he C bets here I think he's weighted towards sets, overpairs and flushes, none of which you're vulnerable to OTT (you're way behind or way ahead), so I'd be more inclined to want to play for a 2 street pot. When he calls your raise you can probably discount some overpairs, although he might have something like KK or AA with a dimaond, TT with a diamond etc so I think you're looking at mainly sets here and a few overpairs and the small chance of a badly slowplayed flush. He could even be splitting with you. I'd still call river though as he might just not believe your flop raise and fire air or an overpair, putting you on a FD or SD that missed. All that is hypothetical though and is based on you checking back the turn.

AP river is a clear fold, he's just never bluffing here - almost certainly this guy is a fish and is slowrolling you with the nut flush or turned boat. Please tell me you didn't pay him off!

Also, not sure I'd consider this guy a reg after taking this line on this hand, certainly not a good reg anyway.
