I should be folding turn to this massive overbet at a super high frequency i imagine although in game i thought blocking some of the 9x club pair plus type draws mattered a little. If i hit 6's on that flop against a button open i am certainly not donking so it just seems more like a draw than anything that got there on the turn given the sizing. Raising his donk bet was very viable obviously but i thought leaving his range wide would have been more +ev..that is until the turn bomb. thoughts?

Get it in on the turn, what are you worried that he has exactly 66 and 57 or t7 doesn't make as much sense as 87.

I think I call river. The line doesn't make any sense with 7x, and sets are hard to have when we hold A9. But then again overbets are always the nuts when I call so maybe I need to start finding more folds in these spots.

Too passive otf and/or turn imo. As played I'm not folding otr. Villain has shown aggression throughout but he's not likely to be leading otf with pocket 88s/10s. Only hands with a 7 that make sense are A7 and 87.

I'd push turn against the fish. Too many bad cards may appear on the river.

I almost never raise flop in this spot vs. a PSB. If he's going to spew off, then give him enough rope to hang himself.

I'm not sure which option I like more between shoving turn and calling turn -> calling every river. I guess I'm leaning toward the former, assuming that a fish is not going to 2x overbet / fold the turn with much of his range and so we get enough calls from worse Ax's to justify a shove.

I guess the only question with this hand based on all the responses, is that is it better to jam the turn or call as played and shove river? Maybe I’m nit picking here but I’ve found that when I’m being over-bet into and I have a monster just shoving right there makes it extremely hard for the vil to call with worse.
