Do you size differently?

The Limp Caller is very loose passive, big blind is average. How do you size your preflop raise and your flop cbet? Pocket Queens out of small blind in over called pot.

i think you played it fine. as a standard i go to 5x out of the SB with 1 limper, but if dude's a whale then sizing up to exploit him is fine. either way i'd go like 75%ish on the flop which you did

Historically I have always done bad with QQ in the blinds, I rather be dealt JTs to be honest. Sizing seems to be the most difficult part of it. But I should look at it as, if I'm out of position be happy "taking it down" without action. dunno, if that's the correct thought though.

just forget about changing your raise sizing based on hand strength, and from the sb go 5x for 1 limper, 6x for 2 limpers, 6.5-7x for 3 limpers. from IP go 4x for 1, 4.5-5x for 2, 5-6x for 3 limpers (depending on your preferences, pick one set of numbers and stick with it no matter what your hand is except in extreme whale driven circumstances)

its the big pairs in SB that are so hard for me to play.

EV when saw flop is going to be higher than EV of stealing the pot pre with fish limpers.

I suspect that’s especially so in case a K or especially an A falls on the flop. That’s not the case here. I guess that betting somewhere between 75% and 100% of the pot would be appropriate in this particular hand, because you’d like to avoid being faced with the situation in which one of those cards falls on the turn.

Accept that your Qs are worth drastically less whenever an A or a K does appear on the board. At least… that’s what I always try to do.

I think its a 16% chance an Ace or King come on turn. Then even less if they are actually holding an Ace or King.

When you say historically, what size sample (both total hands and also spots where you have QQ in blinds vs any type of VPIP) are we talking about when you have QQ in the blinds?

In the last 1,000,000 or so hands in my database, I have had QQ in the SB exactly 801 times. My all in ev is 465bb/100 and I am winning about 65% of the time I see the flop.

Just keep hammering away with QQ. You are likely running bad vs Ax and Kx but it will even out.

I am just purely going off memory, because this trend for me is also true live. I've learned to up my raise size preflop, but sometimes go too much and get all folds.
