Did I properly value bet? Did I properly value bet?

So I checked on the turn because I was scared of a flush draw, and we don't really have a top kicker. Should I value bet on the turn?

If you raise pre make it 8- 10bb.

    Flop and turn looks good.

Otr would go 1/3- 1/2 pot and fold to a raise.

In these situations, is it always better to keep betting turn and fold river if raised against, than to check turn and bet river?

If the flush didn't complete i would bet the turn. But because it did and we are indifferent to another heart coming on the river checking back is good. And i like the river bet, although i do think your river bet is to big i would be trying to extract value from a wider range by betting around 1/3p or .45

Don't think we should bet river, we have to bet small and it's likely not worth the risk being ip. Villain's range should be polarized.

    River bet is horrible.

Well we check turn to pot control. In this case the other posters are right - there's just not enough value to be had by betting otr and it's a great bluff spot for observant players to bluff. There's plenty of sdv ip. I stand corrected.
