Hello all,

I am looking to get more active in this amazing community as I have been a lurker for quite some time. Overall my goal is to improve my game.

Please offer your advice on whether or not I butchered this hand. I chose to shove the flop after his min raise because the only hand I am losing to is QQ or TT. I get him to call off all his draws here(IMO not 100% sure).

Let me know what you think!

3betting the flop is definitely a mistake on this board as you aren't beating any of villain value hands. The only draws villain (might) have here are AJs and KJs and you only get called by KJs. That being said, I hate this spot on the flop and I'm curious to see how others say they would handle it.

Do v's usually min checkraise with draws? If so, why not let v continue to bluff and raise on safe turn cards?

Personally, I would cbet a little bit less with 10BB because that flop hits villains perceived really hard. 99-QQ maybe AQs.

Heck I think I could check on this flop also and try to get value on later streets.

It’s certainly a warning sign if villain min raises your bet after a 3bet and cbet. My guess for villains range is something like 99-QQ/ AQ+/ suited broadway. I would be very worried about sets here... I don’t think villain min raises draws, or top pair.

I’m that sure it’s TT/QQ that I think I fold this.

Did u play it badly? Absolutely not. Stacking off with an overpair and spr of less than 3:1 is rarely bad.
