Did I overplay this hand? Please note the V's stats, he could literally have anything in this spot. Any different lines to consider?

you think so? the guy is 80/10 - he's going to miss a lot of flops. I think a c-bet would be standard against this profile no matter what you have, right?

Don't forget it's threeway and we have only the Q to draw to. And we are not the preflop raiser. And there are a lot of draws / likely pairs on this board so chances are pretty slim we are taking it down on the flop.

i would usually like to play the way you played it against someone who's playing tighter. say 28/18 ish because they are more likely to give up the pot if they didnt hit. I would prob have to say i agree with the check on the flop. although 60 hands on this dude is not nearly enough to tell if hes a maniac, he will most likely call that with anything. the only prob is you dont really have much of anything on the flop and who's to say you were actually going to pick up that nice turn card.

Conversely, against an 80/10 player there is a very good chance that you actually have the best hand on the flop. And he's going to call with hands like Q8o so why not bet?

The flop bet looks fine after the SB checks. SB should be value towning MP if he has anything, so he's going to fold a lot when he checks. Like you say, MP is going to miss the flop a lot and when he calls with a draw like QJ or 87, that's just fine.

Probably check turn, though that's exploitable - villain seems passive enough that we're unlikely to get exploited. The fact that villain's range is wide preflop doesn't mean it's still really wide on the turn - he's not calling the flop with junk like Q4s and 54o (which is why the flop bet is good). Also, a couple of draws completed and the 8 paired some of his drawing hands. Although we picked up equity with the turn, semibluffs need fold equity, and we probably have close to zero FE here. However, unless he has Ax, he'll probably check back and he will probably pay off a good sized bet if we bink a Q or club otr.
