I bet the turn partially for protection because it seams I could have the best hand alot of the time here + we have a gutshot and if we hit a 7 we are often good too. On the river I realize I don't beat any of his check calls but since his range is capped and I can have 76 for a straight or sets which I absolutely play this way often , I decide to jam. Thoughts?

Fold to sqz from a 5% 3b guy. Check turn 3way. You'd propably want to bet the flop with 67 when the squeezer checks so idk about this bluff. The blockers dont really matter coz villain isnt squeezing 67 here. You have worse suited hands to bluff so this should just be a checkdown.

I agree with everything the poster above said, I think you should be folding pre in this spot with 77 and that turning 77 into a bluff is suboptimal.

I called because BTN was overcalling in these situations alot so was pretty sure it is going 3way to the flop.

this is a preflop sandwich spot, we're meant to 4-bet or fold our continuing range. 77 is just a fold, this is not an aggressive preflop dynamic.

77 doesn't need protection on the turn if the squeezer still has a lot of checks in range that crush us.

Thats a good reason to extend your calling range but you really wanna have hands that realize their equity a bit better vs a <5% range than 77.

personally i call pre we have odds to setmine (barely) n the limper left after us likely isnt gonna limp 4b , so its a safe spot for us to expose our nuts a bit imo.probably close to breakeven

id probably x turn we have dec hand dec draw dont wanna blow it up or get blown off, seems like we arent betting as a bluff or for value. protection is questionbly thin since we block a lot of the draws we wanna charge, so id X

riv ya technically u have an ok bluff hand w double nut blocker but arguably some sd value as well.

id probably be more inclined to call flop then xx see cheap showdown, MAYBE raise riv as bluff but u get free riv sd id just x turn and x riv.

Fold pre. You say you are trying to represent a str8. For that to work V would have to be a good hand reader. You can’t really represent a str8. You wouldn’t call a 3bet with 67 would you?

You don’t represent a set either. A set would have bet that flop in a MW pot.
