i'm not a very good poker player. i am very weak mentally. but still. i need a possible explantion to this.

over 168 K hands i was a winning player. VPIP/PFR/3B/AGG included. you can also see that i was running hot.

then - a month ago i started losing constantly. i did not change stakes, atyle pf play (in my opinion) as you can see here:

the stats are a little bit diffrent - but are they the reason for going from winning to losing? how can i improve this?

any advice is welcome

Which stakes are you playing at?

Learn preflop ranges. Your 3b and pfr are to small. I guess you limp or call pre flop in spot where you should 3b or raise.

maybe but in the losing session i "improved" my 3 bet and pfr, but lost much more. so maybe in these stakes i need to go tighter?

are the games you were playing before now ante games? 25nl zoom now if you were exactly 0bb/100 player you are now at -12bb with zero adjustment. i think 10nl zoom is the same situation

25nl is 0.03c per hand ante. 100 hands = $3.00 in antes = 12bb's.

if your 'strategy' was to fold every hand 100% of the time your loss rate would become 12bb/100 greater than what it was previously.

Start by normalizing the graph to bb/100 instead of absolute net winnings. Also, post your positional stats, like vpip/pfr/winrate/etc for each position.

Prior results (in bb/100):
red: -18
blue: 21
actual: 2.9
adjusted: 2.9

This month:
red: -9
blue: -6
actual: -15.7
adjusted: -9

Your redline actually improved this month, but your blue line went to ****. So you've upped your aggression, but started playing poorly as a result.

You're also running bad. The big discrepancy between your actual and adjusted results this month indicate to me that you go all in, A LOT. Maybe you're overplaying big pots, or maybe this is tilt related. Hard to say.

I would tag you as a nit. Try getting your hands on some preflop charts. Learn a solid default preflop strategy instead of winging it.

Aha but that does not mean that the winrate of every player who does not adjust bis prior strategy will decrease 12bb/100. You may want to rethink that conclusion.

If you're playing 6-max, you're a bit nit (not sure if for zoom people play tighter). Ideally you want to close the gap between PFR and VPIP, which you have done.

Try to open up your range more in late position? That will require better postflop skills and hand-reading, so focus on studying those.

no agreed its more complicated than that but i thought it useful to point out the more aggressive decline in redline. i think ante games came in not that long ago wondered whether coincidence or not. im making quite significant adjustments to my game because of it.

OP, are you playing while being tilted?

Tilt might be subtle and almost unnoticable.
