What do you guys think about how I played this hand?

6-max 0.25/0.50 NLHE zoom:

Villain minraises to 1.00 in the CO
GuitarDean raises to 2.50 with AJdd
V calls

Flop: [7c Qd 9c]

GuitarDean bets 3.25
(not a great flop, but figure I'll try for a cbet anyways after 3-betting, ready to fold to any resistance)
V calls 3.25

Turn: [Kd]

Nice, pick up 2 nut draws!

GuitarDean bets 7.00 (Should I have check/called instead? I figured I still had FE here in case V was on a draw.)
V raises to 15.50 (Guess not, but I have the right odds to call.)
GuitarDean calls 8.50

River: [Qs]
GuitarDean bets 21.50
(Any other card I check/fold, but with this river I tried to represent the Q, which adds up with my flop bet for sure. Repping the Q through the turn is questionable, but not unbelievable I don't think. I felt I could get V to fold up to a strong K here, and obviously any draws. I don't think V's turn raise makes it likely he has a Q.)
V raises to 160.22

Obviously I fold. V wins an $82 pot, and I can't help but feel I completely butchered this hand, and that I shouldn't have taken it nearly this far.

I'm thinking the Q story didn't actually add up on the turn? Did my line scream "semi-bluff that missed?" Or did I make a reasonable bluff that simply ran into a strong hand?

My guess is that Villain had J-T. That hand fits with his line perfectly. Clearly he wasn't scared of trip Qs, and a flopped set would raise immediately on such a draw-heavy board. Could I have figured his hand out before the river action though?

you don't have naked Q since you are not betting turn with Q, so repping Q OTR makes no sense. Also, Villain is not raising strong Kx OTT, so you can't make him fold something he doesn't have.

counting his bluff combos and value combos, I'd say he has way to many value combos so I'd call turn if I have odds and easy x/f river.

Also, you are blocking some of his bluffs. Turn is mostly a bet. I'd say river is a spew

Yea, I thought about this hand some more. River was pretty bad. Repping a Q just does not make sense with the turn action.

I had K-x in mind when I bet the river, but when I really thought about it, it's not likely V would be raising the turn with that hand. Heck, K-2 through K-8 wouldn't even have saw a flop.

I am so bad.....

I think you played the hand fine until the river. The river was just not good. You can make a case for checking the flop once in a blue moon.

Agree... all fine until river. You play turn for implied odds (and direct for that matter!). You didn’t hit, and villain clearly has a hand he won’t fold.
