Yes, fold.

When you're behind, you have two outs.
When you're ahead, you're usually slightly ahead.
You have many better hands to continue with and this includes hands "worse" than 5's like K4s, etc..

Without a spade in your hand (which would marginally increase your equity), just fold flop. You can float with hands like A2s, because it has more outs. With this combo of 55, you only have 1 clean out and hate almost every turn and river.
