Fold pre to the 3-bet. AP I don't think you have a choice but to call on a flop with that many draws.

Is it so bad to defend this 3bet to play postflop in position?

I don't like 4bet, but I think the flat on 3bet is valid. If we fold that KQ will not we be folding a lot?

I'd much rather defend a hand like JTs or T9s or 55 then KQo here. KQo is frequently dominated vs an SB 3-betting range and it has relatively poor post-flop playability when compared with its suited counterpart, which is the reason I'm never folding KQs here. It also doesn't have the same implied odds as a hand like 55. It actually has reverse implied odds since when you make top pair and a lot of money goes in the pot you're usually behind. I just find these offsuit broadways have a really hard time realizing their equity in 3-bet pots, even when we're IP.

If I just sat down at the table and had no reads, I would fold here to the 3bet.
Since you didn't provide with any reads, I would fold here to the 3bet preflop. I definitely wouldn't 4bet.
If I were going to call the 3bet here, I would prefer to do it against an overly aggressive opponent.

NL 2 players bluff frequency in 4bet pot is extremely low if you don't get crazy preflop ( 4bet with large amount of your RFI hand).

Maybe all you will see here is AK and AA.

fold or 4b pre is fine, but you're likely better off just folding this

going to have to call flop unless you have info he legit always has AK or something
