I haven't done much 1/4 sizing before. Is this a good card to bet that size with my entire range?

CO: $77.93
BTN: $46.67
SB: $106.79
Hero (BB): $58.07

SB posts SB $0.25, Hero posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has A Q

Flop: ($13.75, 2 players) 6 4 Q

So it's harder for him to continue no matter what your bet sizing is so as 2019 said let him take the reins with 100% of his range since you have this board crushed.

There are usually two main reasons to barrel small OTT.

1) Board pairs/many draws complete -> We have to size down because we rarely want to polarize to trips or a made flush or straight. We still have a lot of hands between top pair and trips that we want to bet for value. Who has en equity advantage doesn't matter too much in this scenario. This is not a range bet.

2) Turn card is one of the best cards for our range in terms of equity -> meaning we now have a lot of hands in our range that want to bet for value, not only the top of our range. It's the same logic that goes for range betting the flop. Range bets in optimal poker are based on us having better hands top-down in the range compared to villain so we can bet very wide for value, which also means we need a lot of bluffs to balance that out -> we need every hand that is left in our range. Atleast this is one way to look at it. Often times it's very hard to have a big equity advantage OTT as the flop bettor, since the flop caller almost always has the equity advantage. But in some cases we lose almost no EV by simplifying to range betting turn. This is a range bet.
