Hi,

just new to zoom 6max 2$. Is there a different way to play this? I was thinking of potting the flop instead of calling and as played also leading turn, but i wanted to check / raise.

Any thoughts on this?

I like the check on the flop. But once there's a bet and a call, it's best to minraise since the pot is already so big and you're never folding. Keep those T8s type hands in there. Someone has something, probably enough to stack off, so minraise that mother****er.

At the zoom tables I play at no way is check minraise a good idea and I wouldn't jump on the lets go broke bandwagon right away either.

I kinda like it as played. T8 clearly missed a valuebet here. I think overall bet flop>check flop and I'm not a huge flop bettor. Would probably bet check bet on safer runouts (this one wasn't that great, cause I know he has T8)

I 3-bet a little bit bigger PF (~$0.30). In general, I make my 3-bets 3x the raise, 4x if there's a caller, 5x if there's two callers, etc. From what people have said on some of my threads, you can probably even go a little bigger against people who are likely to be fish, so maybe something like $0.35 is even better here PF.

Checking flop has to be fine, but against the general 2NLz population, I kind of just want to b/b/b for value until somebody gives me a reason not to.

I would 3bet more...especially since we are playing oop. I'd go to about .35. I would also be cbetting this flop.
