SPR always matters. For instance, if you call the turn check-raise then you call river. That decision point was around 1:1 SPR. Unless there is a short stack, SPR is mostly a turn metric. Just because a website has a system of stacking off with top pair based on flop SPR does not mean stop using your gray matter.
