What’s the worst hand you call with here?

A5/A6/A7, not sure. Odds are terrible we can be pretty selective with our calling range... In theory we're near the absolute top of our range with AK because the A5s/A7s are 2 barelling, but it's pretty unlikely that V's 3X pot river range is in any way balanced. It does sort of looks bluffy and vs someone with maniac tendancies we can level ourself into a call. The thing is he most likely noticed you timed out because of connection issues and didn't actually choose to c-back so you're not as capped as you'd usually be after checking turn. When we call we hope to see JT/KT/KJ (blocking some of that), V has to be some special kind of player to actually have those hands...

There was a similar spot months ago against me where you checked back AA ott and I jammed river with 88 blocking the BD T high straight. Remember that one?

In all seriousness, if someone's timing out and DC'ing, V bluffing for 3x the pot seems quite unnecessary when 1BB will do.

Yeah I think you’re right. Especially since like you mentioned, we block his bluffs. I got really tilted when I timed out OTT which definitely made me play sub optimally OTR. I’ll post results in a little bit

Lol yeah you’re right. These zone tables with no time banks lend itself to hasty decisions. I might have to go back to normal tables for awhile, I ended up calling like a terrible player and he showed A7.

Yeah... it’s always gonna be Ax 2 pair here. Expecting to hear about AQ A5 on the flop so A6 A7 makes perfect sense. You levelled yourself and it happens.. they’re just never bluffing here, or bluffing rivers in general

On the other hand, two pair is an absolutely horrible hand to overbet shove with on a connected board.

It’s thin to put it politely, even more so by the fact hero timed out ott so AQ is still in our range. I think he’s only getting called ever, by AK, A5 A6. The latter two being unlikely given pre, and AK is a pretty bad call. Betting 2/3 or 3/4 is for sure much better as AK-AT can call

It's always hard to say with these stupid river shoves. Seems like half the time it's complete air and half the time it's a strong hand. I will occasionally call these, but I usually lean towards a fold. Depends a bit on the board.
