My thought process was that 10s+ are not checking back turn. With OPSD my sizing was to prevent equity from hands that have a ton of equity against us i.e. AQdd,AKdd.

Is this incorrect?

what are you denying equity to? overcards
what's the sizing that puts those hands in the toughest spot? small
not to mention, if you bet that big, you're left with 1/3 otr and shot your whiffs in the foot cause you can't bluff anymore

In my 3way charts, vs BB SQ, 99 is fold. You are only calling here hoping for a set.

BB seems to be terror with that 3bet, you presume he has larger hands. maybe he wants to play 10nl fast fold, and its not available.
