Yeah, if he is trying to get a cheap show or induce then he is only calling a raise with hands that beat us and folding the rest. BB can have better 2p and straights. I would just call without a note that V can do this with Jx and still call a raise.

turn is better for his range than yours so i'd lean towards calling with the intention of calling on most rivers.
